There are not one but two Wine Routes in the Prosecco Hills!
There are not one but two Wine Routes in the Prosecco Hills!
One destination with two wine routes: one in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills and one in the Montello and Asolo Hills.
It’s not just about fabulous fizz: follow the Wine Routes that run all over the Prosecco Superiore Hills and you’ll discover a wealth of wonderful wines. What are you waiting for?
Head for the vineyards and go on a journey through the world of food and wine filled with fantastic flavour, aesthetic appeal and fascinating information.
In the Prosecco Hills, you can travel along Italy’s first ever Wine Route. The first incarnation of today’s Prosecco and Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills Wine Route was established back in 1966. Follow it to witness a breathtaking array of rural villages and age-old vineyards.
Then there’s the Montello and Asolo Hills Wine Route: discover hidden gems between Nervesa and Asolo, then venture as far as the slopes of Monte Grappa. Following these routes is the best way to get to know the small-scale wine makers and native vines behind extremely limited production runs that keep monoculture at bay and are renowned for their unique qualities.
For example, you can learn about the stories of IGT Verdiso and DOC Recantina, which were saved from extinction by forward-thinking producers. Don’t just taste the wines: go into the wineries and watch the growers at work. You can sample their top wines with them!
