The history of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene at Casa Brunoro among wines and typical foods
As far back as 1850, the first bottles of Prosecco were produced right here. Today, you can learn about the unique history of Casa Brunoro in Valdobbiadene through the tasting of family-made wines accompanied by platters of local cold cuts and cheeses.
The story tells the long tradition of the Confraternity of Valdobbiadene, founded in 1946 to save our territory after World War II, thanks to the strength of oenology and wine.
Our sparkling wines guide, produced with passion since 1930 thanks to the vision of Matteo Varaschin, guide you through the tasting of our Hills, accompanied by the local products that have always been part of the tradition as the legendary Sopressa veneta of our own production, seasoned inside the old oak barrels.
Wines for tasting: "1930" Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut, "1969" Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut Rive di Santo Stefano, "Strada Chiesa" Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Extra Dry, "Ultima Ua" Vino Passito 100% Glera
