Le Muse Ensemble plays Morricone.
A journey through the career of one of the best Italian composers and musicians
The Teatro Accademia hosts the great show 'Omaggio a Morricone - Musiche da Oscar', dedicated to the musical genius of Ennio Morricone.
The performance will be held by the Ensemble Le Muse, who had the honour of performing "Musiche da Oscar" at the Mohamed V Theatre in Rabat, Morocco, receiving the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic for this performance. Solo vocalist will be Angelica Depaoli, while at the piano will be maestro Andrea Albertini, who wrote the show. A highly anticipated concert by Le Muse, which will masterfully perform the great maestro's best pieces.
Ennio Morricone has made millions of people dream thanks to the pieces he composed for the most important Italian and international films: who can forget the notes that made Sergio Leone's 'Spaghetti Westerns', 'Nuovo Cinema Paradiso' and 'Malena', to name but a few, into film legends? It will also be an opportunity to discover Morricone's more pop soul, listening to songs that bear his signature, such as "Se telefonando" by Mina and "Here's to you" by Joan Baez.
