New Year's Eve in the Asolo Hills
The most magical evening of the year takes place in the marvellous surroundings of Progress Country House.
It starts at 7.30pm with an aperitif on the terrace, where baccalà mantecato and courgette pesto, prawns in saor and guacamole sauce, focaccia with morlacco, radicchio and pancetta, arrosticini scottadito and other delicacies are served. We then move to the tasting room to delight the palate with beef carpaccio with radicchio salad, followed by sea bass ravioli with saffron and poppy seed cream and pumpkin risotto with speck, robiola and hazelnuts. The second course is dedicated to one of the local varieties: Recantina-style beef cheeks, accompanied by mashed potatoes and cooked herbs. Dulcis in fundo, cheesecake with berries, as well as the traditional pandoro and panettone. All accompanied by a tasting of Col Del Sol, Col D'Acelum and Recantina wines.
