On the wings of history: retrace the evolution of aviation
Learn all about aviation history in the Jonathan Collection Flying Museum, where you can see replica and original historic aircraft.
Stepping back in time has never been so exciting! The museum is on the Nervesa della Battaglia airfield, in an original Bessonneau hangar from the First World War. It’s just a short distance from the Piave River, which was the site of bloody WW1 battles. The museum is home to a collection of aeroplanes that have gone down in international aviation history. Among them is a SPAD S.XIII biplane flown by Francesco Baracca, who died during the nearby Second Battle of the Piave River. The blend of history and science makes visiting the museum or watching an air display an unparalleled experience.
