Take a trip into the past at the Flying Museum!
In Nervesa della Battaglia, you can get a close look at a collection of historical fighter aircraft and learn all about the life of legendary First World War flying ace Francesco Baracca!
Visit the only flying museum in Italy, which is on a real airfield near the WW1 front line on the banks of the Piave River. It provides an unmissable opportunity to get a close look at replica and original historic aircraft. There is a selection of both restored and faithfully recreated old fighter planes that you can reach out and touch. If you close your eyes, you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time or you’re on the set of a war film. The museum is home to a replica of the plane flown by legendary ace Major Francesco Baracca, who died in combat. His famous fighter was adorned with an emblem of a prancing horse that now appears across the globe on the cars of Italy’s fastest motor racing team: Ferrari!
